Honey lemon salmon is made with tender salmon, fresh lemon, honey, garlic, and parsley for an easy dinner with just 5 ingredients.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 salmon fillets (about 12 oz total)
  • 1 lemon
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • Fresh parsley
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Season the salmon fillets on all sides with salt and black pepper. Heat a splash of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the salmon for about 5 minutes per side, or until nicely browned.
  2. Meanwhile, mince the garlic. Once the salmon is nicely browned, add the garlic to the pan and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Add the honey and 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (from about half a lemon). Slice the remaining half of the lemon and add the slices to the pan.
  4. Let everything simmer gently for about 2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
  5. Serve with fresh parsley and spoon the sauce over the salmon. Enjoy!
