Description
Honey lemon salmon is made with tender salmon, fresh lemon, honey, garlic, and parsley for an easy dinner with just 5 ingredients.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 salmon fillets (about 12 oz total)
- 1 lemon
- 3 tablespoons honey
- Fresh parsley
- Olive oil
Instructions
- Season the salmon fillets on all sides with salt and black pepper. Heat a splash of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the salmon for about 5 minutes per side, or until nicely browned.
- Meanwhile, mince the garlic. Once the salmon is nicely browned, add the garlic to the pan and cook for 1 minute.
- Add the honey and 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (from about half a lemon). Slice the remaining half of the lemon and add the slices to the pan.
- Let everything simmer gently for about 2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
- Serve with fresh parsley and spoon the sauce over the salmon. Enjoy!
