- 4 oz smoked salmon
- 1/3 cup plain cream cheese spread
- 1/2 cup finely shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 1 egg
- 1 zucchini
- 1 red onion
- 1 teaspoon dried dill
- Arugula
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Meanwhile, slice the zucchini into thin rounds and the red onion into thin half-moons.
- In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, 1 pressed clove of garlic, finely shredded Parmesan cheese, and dried dill.
- Unroll the puff pastry sheet on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the pastry.
- Brush the edges of the puff pastry with beaten egg yolk.
- Arrange the zucchini slices evenly over the cream cheese mixture, followed by the red onion.
- Bake for about 20 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown.
- Before serving, top the tart with the smoked salmon and a handful of arugula.
