Description

In the mood for fish but not in the mood for a lot of fuss? These teriyaki salmon foil packets are the answer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 salmon fillets, skin on
  • 2 green onions
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 5 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven (convection if you have it) to 400°F.
  2. To make the teriyaki sauce, mix the soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, cornstarch, and the pressed garlic together.
  3. Slice the green onions into thin rings. Cut 4 lemon slices and then halve them.
  4. Place each salmon fillet on a sheet of aluminum foil and fold the foil up around the fish to form a packet. Spoon the teriyaki sauce over the salmon. Place the lemon slices on both sides and sprinkle the green onions over the top. Fold the foil closed.
  5. Place the salmon packets in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes. Then carefully open the foil and return the salmon to the oven for about 5 more minutes. Serve immediately.
